Adult Music

VOCAL CHOIRS

CHANCEL CHOIR ~ ADULTS OF ALL AGES & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
REHEARSALS: Wednesday Evenings 7:00—8:00 p.m.
Chancel Choir prepares music  in a variety of styles and leads 10:30 a.m, worship each Sunday, as well as additional worship services such as Advent, Christmas, and Lent.

INSTRUMENTAL CHOIRS

LUTHER RINGERS—INTERMEDIATE – ADVANCED HANDBELL CHOIR
REHEARSALS: Tuesday Evenings 7:00—8:00 p.m.
RINGERS NEEDED! Contact director if interested.

Luther Ringers is made up of 13 ringers who play 5 octaves of handbells and chimes. They prepare a variety of music and help lead worship September through May at both 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. worship, as well as additional seasonal worship. Ringers need to be able to read music, and handbell experience is helpful.

HANDBELL ENSEMBLES—INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED HANDBELL ENSEMBLES

Handbell Ensembles are generally 3 to 6 ringers and are a new option for handbell ringers. Small groups ring differently than regular handbell choirs, but it's fun and sometimes challenging. We currently have a handbell quartet, and would like to add additional ensembles. If interested in playing in a Handbell Ensemble, please contact the director. Rehearsal times are determined by availability of the ringers in the ensemble.

MIXED INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE

REHEARSALS: Sunday Mornings 11:30 – 12:15 p.m.
Mixed Instrumental Ensemble  is made of up band and orchestra instrumentalists who play a variety of music September through May. They help lead worship on a regular basis at both 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. worship and other special worship services.  All instruments and skill levels are welcome including students with at least 2-years experience in band or orchestra.

All adults music groups rehearse mid-August through May.

Children / Youth / Adult Music - Open to all Ages

CHILDREN'S HANDBELLS – Grades 3 – 6 led by Caroline Tyree
REHEARSALS: Sunday Mornings 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. in the Handbell Room, Main Building, Lower Level
Children's Handbells is beginner level and will meet in 6 to 8 week sessions to learn music to play in worship.
Current Session is November 7 through December 19.

Children's and Youth Music is a vital ministry, and we want to ensure we're offering all ages an opportunity to grow in faith and serve in worship through music and arts.
