First Reading John 15: 4-7
4 Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself
unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. 5
I am the
vine; you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit,
because apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Whoever does not abide in me is
thrown away like a branch and withers; such branches are gathered, thrown into
the fire, and burned. 7
If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask for
whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Here ends the reading.

Hymn - He’s got the whole World
He's got the whole world in his hands,
He's got the whole world in his hands,
He's got the whole world in his hands,
He's got the whole world In his hands!
He's got the itty bitty baby in his hands.
He's got you and me brother in His hands,
He's got you and me sister in His hands…
He's got everybody here in His hands…
He's got the whole world in his hands…
Go in peace. Serve the Lord.
And pray with confidence!
Thanks be to God!
