Continuing to follow CDC guidelines, while also continuing to urge appropriate and safe practices, Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church announces the following changes for our worship gatherings beginning immediately:
- All those attending in-person worship are strongly encouraged to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
- Saint Mark’s highly encourages vaccinations for reasons of self-care and care for neighbor; and face masks will be available in worship for anyone who needs one.
- For the time being, sanctuary seating will continue to be spaced out as we gradually add more seating with needed demand; outside worship will also occasionally be offered; and the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be added back in periodically.
- Finally, the season of Covid-19 has highlighted the importance of livestream worship opportunities and ability to connect as Church together virtually. Thus, streaming and Zooming will continue; and we will continue to explore these and other technologies with great joy and energy.
Rejoicing with faithful optimism, we again continue to urge appropriate caution and mutual respect. As we trust our God and trust in one another to do the right things, we remain ever grateful for the life we share in our family of faith in Jesus’ name.
The peace of Christ be with you.
