Ashley Fisher - Associate in Ministry
I have been a member of St. Mark's since 1986. After graduating from Mooresville High School in 1992, I attended Lenoir-Rhyne College and East Carolina University, earning a BS degree in Recreation Therapy, which I practiced for 7 years. I served in various ways at St. Mark's, one being in the Children's and Youth Ministry. After several years of serving as a volunteer in the Youth Ministry at St. Mark's, I sensed a call to professional ministry. I was hired as the Christian Education and Youth Director at St. Mark's in 2003 and in 2005, I earned my Associate in Ministry certification. Having grown up in this loving congregation, I feel extremely blessed to also call St. Mark's home as a grown up!
My husband Jason and I have been married for 15 years. He shares in the leadership of our Senior High Youth program and is very active in the life of our congregation. We have two daughters, Jenna (10) and Sarah Lynne (4). When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking and reading. I have recently become a runner and am excited that my daughter Jenna is also starting to enjoy running. We hope to complete a 5K together in the Spring.
God has done many things in my life and I love to share that with others, especially children and youth.
